Today’s drawing posed a re-occurring scanning issue for me. Does anyone else have trouble with their scanner recognizing dark green colours? If so, here is how to correct it in the Gimp (if you’re like me and can’t afford Photoshop:
1. select the area of the drawing in need of colour correction
2. go to color balance- midtones, and increase yellow a whole lot
3. in color balance- shadows, increase cyan to your liking.
4. next, adjust color levels to match the hue or shade of your drawing.

There! Now you should have your forest green back like in today’s Trudger drawing. Hope this helps someone.
