skiing past the bullet train

skiing past the bullet train

A snow day! I haven’t had one of these since I was a kid. About eight inches was enough to incapacitate the wimpy city of St. Louis last night. We just don’t know what to do with ourselves when we get stuff like this. Go to Art Hill and play in it, I guess. So my kitty and I are snowed in at the moment. It is beautiful. If anyone nearby needs an extra gallon of milk or a carton of eggs, I somehow have more than I need. I didn’t buy it in preparation of “the storm” or anything. Neglecting to make a grocery list produced the error. So what will I do with myself today? I’ll cut some mat board for my show, work on updating my website, catch up on reading some blogs that I subscribe to, practice guitar, clean the house, do the laundry, shovel snow, and eat some eggs, I guess. What would you do with yourself if you have (or had) a snow day?

  1. snow day!!
mom and i are very happy for you we both got a snow day too!
i went outside and took fun pictures of nature and somehow that took up practically four hours. so much for completing my list of 18 things to do on my snow day…
mom ate a whole bag of sunflower seeds and worked on her bible study, she says that if you lived nearby she’d take you up on that milk offer 🙂

  2. a whole bag of sunflower seeds and the Holy Word of God. Sounds like an opportunity for growth there somewhere. Yeay for your winterscape photo session. I’d say that was a commendable way to spend a snow day.

  3. I feel like trudger has been striding a bit recently.
